F=ma Exam I Class

F=ma Exam II Class

Descriptions:

F=ma Exam Preparation I: 2pm – 3:50pm (8 classes)
Objective: Learn major concepts in mechanics to pass AP Physics 1 and approach F=ma exam
Content: Working through chapters in Giancoli, Serway, and Young. Suitable for motivated 8th and 9th grade students with mathematical background, but minimal exposure to physics.
Pre-requisite: Basic algebra


F=ma Exam Preparation II: 4:00pm – 5:50pm (8 classes)
Objective: Learn major concepts in mechanics to pass AP Physics C and F=ma exam
Content: Working through past exams and developing problem-solving techniques. Suitable for motivated 10th and 11th grade students who have taken a physics class before.
Pre-requisite: AP Physics I, Basic calculus suggested

 

Class Format:

  • Review homework problems and previous material
  • Learn and discuss new content
  • Practice solving problems involving new concepts

Homework:

The homework consists of related problems for you to practice and demonstrate your understanding. While it will not be collected, I strongly emphasize that solving problems is crucial to physics learning and development. As always, feel free to email me to clarify any misconceptions.
