Solution:

In a position-time plot, speed is given by the magnitude of the slope of the graph. In our case, the squirrel travels at three different speeds over its motion. Part II has the largest magnitude of slope corresponding to time B to D. Thus, the answer is C.

In a velocity-time plot, speed is given by the magnitude of the graph value. Points B and D are both the largest in magnitude so the answer is D.

Solution:

In an acceleration-time plot, speed is given by the magnitude of the signed area under the graph. Point C maximizes the positive area under the graph while Point E maximizes the negative area. Since the magnitude of the maximum positive area is larger, the answer is B.
